For most of this year the first step with me was a paid $500 Workflow Lab. It filtered for serious owners. It also meant very few owners ever got to see how I think before paying. This week I changed the front door.
What changed
The first step is now a free AI audit. One hour, three parts, and a map delivered within 48 hours:
- 20 minutes walking your operation: where the hours go, what is manual, what breaks.
- 15 minutes naming two or three specific jobs AI can take, with the hours attached to each.
- 5 minutes naming what should stay human. Telling you that costs me work. Automating the wrong thing costs you trust.
- Within 48 hours: a one-page map in priority order, with a fixed quote if you want it built. Yours to keep either way.
The $500 Lab still exists. It is now the deeper, hands-on session for owners who want to build something together in one sitting.
Why give the map away
Because the map is useful even if you never hire me. Some owners will take it and build it themselves. Good. The free playbooks on this site exist for exactly that. The owners who see how much steady work a reliable workflow takes tend to come back, and they come back already trusting the plan.
What I will report here every week
- Audits booked and maps delivered inside 48 hours (the promise only counts if I keep it).
- One real workflow I built, fixed or killed, and what it changed.
- One giveaway: a prompt, a workflow or a repo I actually use, added to the Resources page.
This is the weekly log. If you run a service business and want to see the audit before you book one, start with the free framework. It is the same five-leak structure I use on the call.
